To succeed as a reliable Drilling and Workover Services contractor requires investment in support facilities and systems for maintenance, repairs and backup. Therefore, to ensure the integrity of our equipment and to support our oilfield operations and maintain the quality of our assets, MB Petroleum has invested in establishing large workshops, attached to its operations in Oman, Syria, Yemen, Germany and Hungary. Full logistics and operational support, including rig moving, transport of company supplied materials, preparation of well programs, materials utilization lists, and support for well entry proposals are provided.

MB Petroleum has implemented Oracle based Enterprise Asset Management System to centrally monitor and maintain the condition of the equipments and assets. This system is implemented in all rigs.

In Oman, the MB Petroleum Rusayl Oilfield Center provides engineering and maintenance support to drilling, workover and production services operations.

The workshop has all the necessary equipment required for major repair and overhauls. There is enough space around the workshop for rig up of a complete rig. In addition, the Rusayl Oilfield Center workshop has its own high-pressure test bay, fabrication shop, sand blasting and painting facilities. Our operations in Germany, Hungry, Syria and Yemen are supported by well-equipped workshops of similar standards.

Major activities of the workshops include:

• Maintenance and refurbishment of rigs and equipment

• Fabrication of tanks, production test separators, sand catchers etc

• Inspection and repair of all oilfield equipment in a factory environment including high pressure testing

• Engineering support for rig modifications & projects to upgrading equipment
