Our History
1982
- Established as MB trading in Oman
1986
- Started providing oil-field services in Oman, under MB Petroleum Services LLC.
1997
- Acquired ISO 9001 – 2000 certification in December.
- Acquired KV Drilling in Hungary and renamed it MB Drilling Co. Ltd.
- Started operations in Saudi Arabia for Aramco.
2000
- Started operations in Qatar for Qatar Petroleum.
- Acquired EEW in Germany and renamed it MB Deutschland GMBH.
2008
- Acquired German company Koller whose client portfolio includes Cameron, Weatherford, Exxon and other major oilfield players.
2010

Acquired Remaining 49% stake in MB Century Drilling Pty Ltd.
2013
The establishment of Gulf Drilling LLC wholly owned subsidiary of MB Petroleum Services Worldwide has been established with the objective of providing quality drilling services in the Sultanate and the region.
2015
- MBPS Informatics new office inaugurated in New Delhi
2017
- MBPS Training Center acquired ISO 29990:2010 Certification
2018
- MBPS & Gulf Drilling LLC successfully achieved the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to the newly revised ISO 9001:2015 standard and QMS certified.
2022
- Acquired API Q2 accreditation for its Drilling Rigs Division (Gulf Drilling LLC).
- Started operations in Kuwait for KOC with provision of 2 x new built 750 HP Workover Rigs.
2023
- Completed mobilization of 4 x new built state of the art mechanized Rigs for long term contracts with PDO in Oman.
- Acquired a Netherlands/Germany based E – Line and Snubbing/HWO Services Company – BPC
2026
- Completion of a strategic joint venture with ADNOC Drilling and MB Holding Company, strengthening regional scale, execution capability and long-term growth across core GCC markets
